The food watchdog group commonly known as the “food police” are threatening to take the “happy” out of McDonald’s Happy Meals.
Admittedly, French fries, a hamburger and soda might not be the most nutritious meal choice for kids, but according to The Center for Science in the Public Interest, handing out toys with this kind of lunch is also “a pernicious, wrong and illegal marketing practice.”
The CSPI alleges that McDonald’s dangles toys in front of kids’ faces to tempt them into eating its Happy Meals.

What do you think? Do you remember getting a toy in your Happy Meal as a kid? Do your kids get Happy Meals? Is it misleading for McDonalds to give away a toy?

This is just another example of the “Nanny State” the U.S. is heading into. Its a parents choice to feed their child slop from McDonalds with a toy or Organic whole food that is great for their body. Its a CHOICE that for a moment we still have the right to make here in this country. Give these jokers a few more years and CHOICE will no longer matter.
McDonald’s is NOT slop. The Center for Science in the Public Interest has nothing to do with science or the public interest. They are socialist busybodies and control freaks. The CSPI should sue parents who are too stupid to raise their own kids.
Freedom is the only thing that matters.
I agree, every parent has a choice whether or not to feed that kind of nasty, fattening foods to their children. It’s not slop, it’s much worse. But it is still a choice and America is about freedom. Watch dog groups won’t cure the problem. McDonalds isn’t the only chain that gives a toy out in a meal or that makes nasty food. Are they going to take toys out of Arbys, Burger King and the rest of the them?? OR the better plan would just be to educate parents about the dangers of eating that kind of food. Everyone should watch Food Inc. You’ll never eat McDonalds or any other food chain again.
This particular write-up is actually really helpful and timely as I have been wanting to do a revamp of all the food selection for my household to help my kids develop healthy eating habits. Need to have pretty much all the information and help I can get. Thanks a lot!

Just wanted to know if you may have any kind of suggestion on whether wheat-based meals have to be avoided with regards to fat burning? From precisely what I know, it’s a good-for-you food but I have been getting contradicting thinkings on it. Absolutely be thankful for your tip or statement. Many thanks.

This is useful suggestion, many thanks for adding. Just suspecting if you may have any thoughts on whether wheat-based foods really need to be eliminated for weight management? From precisely what I understand, it’s a good-for-you food unfortunately I have been gaining conflicting takes on the idea. Would definitely be grateful for your word of advice or statement. Thanks a lot.
