Here at KTIV, we are working on a redesign of our Web site weather page. This is where you come in. It’s people like you who read and use this page day in and day out. We want to know what you want to see on our weather page. What do you like or dislike on our current Web site? Have you seen something that could be a great addition?

What I like: The current conditions, weather media, today’s outlook and the weather links.
What I dislike: The weather portal.
What could be improved? I would like better Firefox compatibility because the Video Forecast does not work for me. The weather portal also has some problems, but this may be due to the MyWeather.net website.
What I’d like to see: Allow the Personal Microcast to send e-mails about school closure.
On your internet weather site, it would be nice to see a map showing the actual graphic locations of the fronts. Like the Weather Channel site has. Not just maps of radar. Thank you
Hi, I would like to see a forecast specific to our local area. Someone in the Storm Lake area with a weather station sending current information & temperatures.
Thanks for the comments. There’s some great ideas here! Scott, just so you know, if it’s current conditions you’re looking for you can go to the area where Sioux City’s temperature shows up. There’s a place called “Find A City.” Click on the box below that, click on Iowa, and current temperatures will come up in a new window for several Iowa cities including Storm Lake. Then if you click on Storm Lake you’ll get more current information as well as a 5-day forecast. Try it out.

It would be nice to be able to input your zip code somewhere on your home page (somewhat similar to MSNBC’s) and then you can see the current conditions (temp, humidity, wind speed) for your area.
Hey…..I think that it should be more colorful, in stead of just white for the main portion of the background….put in some color! Also….I think that you shouldn’t have to get the Premium Microcast to be able to do the storm tracking thing…I think that should be a part of the personal microcast!
I noticed when I clicked the side bar for friday’s weather, it was from a date long past. Why?

I’m not sure I understand where you saw a link for Friday’s forecast. I have not noticed any issues with the forecasts on our weather page being old. Could you please expand on the issue? Then we can look into it.
